THE STRUCTURE IN YOUR HOME MAY BE CREATING PEACE OR TURMOIL...

The word of God in 1 Corinthians 11:3, ESV, states "But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God."

There are some homes where, though there is a husband, the inlaw is the head of the home. There are some, if there is a husband, the wife is the head, and in other homes, though there are both parents, the children are the ones that say what should happen. For individuals, though you praise God, He is not the head of your life. All the same, for single parents, the stress and strain can be so much that the children run the home.  By 'head' we mean the ones who control what happens in the home, who strongly influence the final decisions of the home.

If we fail to acknowledge the structural make-up of our home and lives and do not fix it, turmoil is inevitable. A home or a life without structure, leads to destruction...

 Structuring is a workshop that can be used for individuals, couples, and families INDIVIDUALLY OR TOGETHER, for folks engaged, married, or even singles.  This workshop walks us through the process of understanding what and who dictates who we are as children of God. When we surrender our lives to Christ, we are no longer the ones in the driver seat, but we are the passengers, and that Christ is the head.  It doesn't mean that we are not making decisions, it means we are aware of the foundational principles we stand on to keep our morale and spiritual compass in line with our decision making.

Depending on the make up of the household, the structuring activity is set up, however, the main message is Christ is the head of every unit.

When we create a structure for our homes, ourselves, and our relationships, we are able to see clearer our pathways in life.  We are able to seek the right and appropriate counsel, and we are able to see where the cracks are in our relationship foundation that usually lead to turmoil, divorce, separations.  In addition, when we are aware of the structure in our lives, we are able to find the strengths and wealth we have to build an ever greater foundation that can help us withstand the trials that come to threaten our unit or unity.
